Vulnerabilities
Almost all known types of landslides in Albania have developed near or above active neotectonic faults. They have been observed in almost all regions of Albania. In some urban areas, landslides have caused great damages, destroying houses,roads, etc. In the Albanian map of geohazards 46 zones with intensive landslides have been indicated, from the North to the South of the country (1). The most important are those of the populated areas of the regions Mokra, Moglica and Borsh–Sasaj (2).
